Meetings with Martina - Introductory, Success Check-in
Jun Delos Santos is originally from the Philippines and moved to Pittsburgh to pursue graduate studies and stayed on to work in the life sciences field. His love for dancing is rooted on his desire to get a good physical workout while still having fun!
Jun is going to be a guest instructor at Emphico for Hip Hop Dance Fitness Class.
When? Saturday June 6th 10:15am
About Hip Hop Dance Fitness:
Jun’s take on the hiphop cardio fitness regimen is premised on two things — you keep on moving, and you enjoy the whole experience. This moderate- to high-impact dance class is a fusion of different rhythms that encourage dancers to just let loose and take it to their own levels, while tuning in to an upbeat and fun music playlist. This workout engages your body’s coordinated movements and tests your cardiovascular endurance.
Are you interested in attending Jun's class? You have a great opportunity to join this class in person in Emphico or virtually. Please book for the class in advance.
We're excited to welcome guest instructor Melikk to Emphico for a FREE REFIT® Dance Fitness class! REFIT is a feel-good cardio dance experience built on community, positivity, and powerful moves — and the best part? Every BODY belongs. No experience needed, just bring your energy!

More about Melikk!
Hi, my name is Melikk! I’ve been passionate about fitness for the past few years, and I love using movement as a way to bring joy and confidence to others. Teaching Refit is so special to me because it’s not just about working out—it’s about creating a space where people can feel free, uplifted, and truly themselves. My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I strive to bring light, encouragement, and positivity into every class. I can’t wait to dance and grow together!

Join Shelby on Tuesday June 16th 7pm!
Hi, I’m Shelby! Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I’m a proud Radiologic Sciences graduate of Penn State University (We Are! 💙🤍).
I work full-time as a Senior CT Technologist at a Level 1 trauma hospital, but dance has always been a huge part of my life. I started in cheerleading as a kid, performed in color guard during high school, and later discovered dance fitness through Zumba and hip hop in my early 20s.
About a year ago, I found Emphico — and soon after, Shine Dance Fitness — and I rediscovered my spark. I was instantly hooked and became Shine certified in December 2025!
To me, a Shine class feels like a night out with your girlfriends — full of energy, laughter, and unapologetic fun.
Linda Maus also as Yinda Bounce back at Emphico, a cardio dance fusion of latin, hip hop, and pop music designed to get you smiling while you're booty shaking.
When: Saturday June 20th 10:15am
More about Linda:
Linda has been dancing since she was a child and has always been active, so finding group fitness was a natural extension for her. In 2008, encouraged by her instructor and mentor Dani, Linda took her first Zumba training and fell in love. Since then her style has evolved to include whatever music hits just right, strength and floor moves, and an overall "love first" mindset. Fitness should never be viewed as a punishment, but instead as a way to love, honor, and respect yourself through movement. And if you can laugh at the silly, sweaty muppet leading the way, all the better! Everyone is welcome to join in the Bouncy goodness, just remember to listen to your body, modify moves and intensity, and most importantly, have fun!
