Meetings with Martina - Introductory, Success Check-in
Jun Delos Santos is originally from the Philippines and moved to Pittsburgh to pursue graduate studies and stayed on to work in the life sciences field. His love for dancing is rooted on his desire to get a good physical workout while still having fun!
Jun is going to be a guest instructor at Emphico for Hip Hop Dance Fitness Class.
When? Saturday May 2nd 10:15am
About Hip Hop Dance Fitness:
Jun’s take on the hiphop cardio fitness regimen is premised on two things — you keep on moving, and you enjoy the whole experience. This moderate- to high-impact dance class is a fusion of different rhythms that encourage dancers to just let loose and take it to their own levels, while tuning in to an upbeat and fun music playlist. This workout engages your body’s coordinated movements and tests your cardiovascular endurance.
Are you interested in attending Jun's class? You have a great opportunity to join this class in person in Emphico or virtually. Please book for the class in advance.

Dancing and especially movement choreographed into the music is her way how to express emotions and share energy with her customers. What inspires Martina to instruct classes the most is the interaction with her customers. She has the opportunity to provide them exciting experience and make them feel emotions through music and movement.
This high energy class focuses on body awareness, coordination, grooves, and patterning. Choreography is designed to be in sync with the trending music of hip hop, R&B, Street styles. Dancers are invited to put in the choreography their own flavor of movement and have fun dancing while toning whole body and engaging cardiovascular system.
Join Shelby on Tuesday May 12th 7pm!
Hi, I’m Shelby! Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I’m a proud Radiologic Sciences graduate of Penn State University (We Are! 💙🤍).
I work full-time as a Senior CT Technologist at a Level 1 trauma hospital, but dance has always been a huge part of my life. I started in cheerleading as a kid, performed in color guard during high school, and later discovered dance fitness through Zumba and hip hop in my early 20s.
About a year ago, I found Emphico — and soon after, Shine Dance Fitness — and I rediscovered my spark. I was instantly hooked and became Shine certified in December 2025!
To me, a Shine class feels like a night out with your girlfriends — full of energy, laughter, and unapologetic fun.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years of dancing, sweating, and shaking it with all of you.
To celebrate this amazing milestone, I’m inviting you to a special Zumba party!
Your favorite routines (from past & present!)
Giveaways & fun raffle prizes
High energy, good vibes, and LOTS of shaking it
A celebration of our incredible community
This journey wouldn’t be the same without you. Every class, every smile, every drop of sweat — THANK YOU for being part of it.
Let’s celebrate the best way we know how… by dancing together!

Linda Maus also as Yinda Bounce back at Emphico, a cardio dance fusion of latin, hip hop, and pop music designed to get you smiling while you're booty shaking.
When: Saturday May 23rd 10:15am
More about Linda:
Linda has been dancing since she was a child and has always been active, so finding group fitness was a natural extension for her. In 2008, encouraged by her instructor and mentor Dani, Linda took her first Zumba training and fell in love. Since then her style has evolved to include whatever music hits just right, strength and floor moves, and an overall "love first" mindset. Fitness should never be viewed as a punishment, but instead as a way to love, honor, and respect yourself through movement. And if you can laugh at the silly, sweaty muppet leading the way, all the better! Everyone is welcome to join in the Bouncy goodness, just remember to listen to your body, modify moves and intensity, and most importantly, have fun!
Join us in person at Emphico or virtually. Booking in advance is required. Book through MindBody App or button bellow.
