Join Shelby on Tuesday March 3rd 7pm!
Hi, I’m Shelby! Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I’m a proud Radiologic Sciences graduate of Penn State University (We Are! 💙🤍).
I work full-time as a Senior CT Technologist at a Level 1 trauma hospital, but dance has always been a huge part of my life. I started in cheerleading as a kid, performed in color guard during high school, and later discovered dance fitness through Zumba and hip hop in my early 20s.
About a year ago, I found Emphico — and soon after, Shine Dance Fitness — and I rediscovered my spark. I was instantly hooked and became Shine certified in December 2025!
To me, a Shine class feels like a night out with your girlfriends — full of energy, laughter, and unapologetic fun.

Join Rebecca on Saturday March 14th at 10:15am for PiYo Class.
PiYo is a low-impact, high-energy workout that blends the strength and toning of Pilates with the flexibility and flow of yoga. This full-body class improves balance, mobility, core strength, and endurance—without jumping or heavy weights. Expect smooth, controlled movements, upbeat music, and a workout that leaves you feeling strong, stretched, and energized. Perfect for all fitness levels!
Linda Maus also as Yinda Bounce back at Emphico, a cardio dance fusion of latin, hip hop, and pop music designed to get you smiling while you're booty shaking.
When: Saturday March 21st 10:15am
More about Linda:
Linda has been dancing since she was a child and has always been active, so finding group fitness was a natural extension for her. In 2008, encouraged by her instructor and mentor Dani, Linda took her first Zumba training and fell in love. Since then her style has evolved to include whatever music hits just right, strength and floor moves, and an overall "love first" mindset. Fitness should never be viewed as a punishment, but instead as a way to love, honor, and respect yourself through movement. And if you can laugh at the silly, sweaty muppet leading the way, all the better! Everyone is welcome to join in the Bouncy goodness, just remember to listen to your body, modify moves and intensity, and most importantly, have fun!

Jun Delos Santos is originally from the Philippines and moved to Pittsburgh to pursue graduate studies and stayed on to work in the life sciences field. His love for dancing is rooted on his desire to get a good physical workout while still having fun!
Jun is going to be a guest instructor at Emphico for Hip Hop Dance Fitness Class.
When? Friday March 27th 6:30pm
About Hip Hop Dance Fitness:
Jun’s take on the hiphop cardio fitness regimen is premised on two things — you keep on moving, and you enjoy the whole experience. This moderate- to high-impact dance class is a fusion of different rhythms that encourage dancers to just let loose and take it to their own levels, while tuning in to an upbeat and fun music playlist. This workout engages your body’s coordinated movements and tests your cardiovascular endurance.
