Meetings with Martina - Introductory, Success Check-in

At Emphico, we strive to be as flexible, understanding, and accommodating as possible. We do not require long-term contracts, and we are always happy to work with our participants whenever possible. Our goal is to create a positive experience while ensuring classes and events can run smoothly for everyone.
To help us serve our community in the best way possible, please review the following policies.
Advance registration is required for all classes and events through MindBody, FitReserve, ASH Fitness, or Eventbrite.
✨ Registration for group fitness classes closes 1 hour before class begins.
Exceptions
New Participants
If you are new to Emphico and need assistance setting up your MindBody account, please contact Martina at least 1 hour before class. Be prepared to provide your name and email address so your account can be created. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete registration and required forms.
Cash Payments
If you would like to pay cash, please contact Martina at least 1 hour before class or event. She will reserve your spot and assist you with check-in upon arrival.
We understand that life happens. If an emergency comes up, please reach out. We are human, and we will always do our best to approach situations with understanding and kindness.
Group Fitness Classes
✨ Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before class to avoid a late-cancel fee.
✨ Participants may cancel their class reservation directly through their MindBody account. If you need assistance, please contact Martina.
✨ Reserving a spot in class means that space is being held specifically for you. If your plans change, please cancel your reservation as early as possible so another participant may have the opportunity to attend.
✨ Participants with unlimited memberships receive one complimentary late-cancel exception.
✨ After the complimentary exception has been used, late cancellations will incur a $5 fee.
✨ Participants who late-cancel or do not show up for a reserved class will forfeit that class visit. No refunds or credits will be issued for classes purchased through memberships, class packages, or drop-in purchases.
Special Classes & Events
✨ Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a special class or event are non-refundable.
✨ Participants who late-cancel or do not attend a special class or event will forfeit their registration and no refund or credit will be issued.
✨ Membership changes, pauses, or cancellations must be requested at least 14 days before your scheduled membership renewal date.
✨ Participants may manage membership changes through their MindBody account when available.
✨ If you need assistance with membership changes, pauses, or cancellations, please contact Martina and she will be happy to help.
Please arrive on time or, ideally, at least 5 minutes before class or event begins to ensure a smooth and safe start for everyone.
✨ All participants are required to check in using the iPad at the Welcome Desk upon arrival for every class and event.
✨ Checking in helps us maintain accurate attendance records and ensures that all participants are properly registered for their class or event.
To help instructors plan and ensure classes can run effectively:
✨ Evening group fitness classes must have at least 3 in person participants registered by noon on the day of class.
✨ Morning group fitness classes must have at least 3 in person participants registered by 8:00 PM the evening before.
✨ If the minimum enrollment is not met, the class may be canceled and registered participants will be notified as early as possible via email and/or text message.
✨ If a class is not visible in the MindBody schedule, it means the class has been canceled.
✨ Please do not attend a class unless you have successfully registered in advance.
✨ A maximum of 40 participants is permitted in a single group fitness class.
Attendance requirements for special classes and events may vary and will be communicated individually.
Please do not attend classes or events if you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or may be contagious.
To help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone:
✨ Please sanitize any borrowed equipment after use, including yoga mats, Ripstix®, dumbbells, kettlebells, barre equipment, and other studio props.
✨ Please return all equipment to its designated storage area after class.
✨ Help us keep the studio clean by disposing of trash and personal items before leaving.
✨ During winter weather, please leave wet or salty boots and outdoor shoes in the Welcome Center area. Salt and moisture can damage our studio flooring and equipment.
In the event that a class must be canceled due to weather conditions, registered participants will be notified via email and/or text message.
✨ If you are not registered and do not see the class listed in the booking system, the class has been canceled.
✨ Whenever possible, virtual attendance options may remain available even if in-person classes are canceled.
✨ We do our best to avoid canceling classes and will make decisions with participant safety as our top priority.
